Are you aiming for a pristine platinum, a vibrant pastel, or just a clean canvas for your next color transformation, a Scalp Bleach is an amazing service for a total hair transformation!
Unlike highlights that leave some of your natural color behind, a scalp bleach involves applying lightener directly to the hair at the root to achieve a solid, seamless, and high impact blonde.
IMPORTANT INFO
To ensure the highest standards of safety and care, all new clients are required to book a mandatory consultation prior to any scalp bleach service. During this visit, we perform a comprehensive skin patch test to monitor for potential allergens, histamine responses, or adverse reactions. This essential step allows us to verify that the professional grade lighteners are compatible with your skin before we begin. Please note that if any reaction is detected during the testing period, we will not proceed with the scalp bleach service instead, our stylists will work with you to find a safer, alternative lightening technique to achieve your hair goals without compromising your well being.

Frequently asked questions
about Scalp Bleaches
Why is a consultation mandatory for new clients?
Every scalp is unique, and a consultation is the only way to ensure we can safely achieve your desired blonde. We take this time to analyze your hair history, discuss your maintenance goals, and most importantly perform a skin patch test to ensure your safety before we begin.
What is a skin patch test, and how does it work?
A skin patch test involves applying a small amount of our professional lightener or toner to a discreet area of your skin (usually behind the ear or in the crook of the elbow). We then get you to monitor the area for 48 hours to ensure you don’t experience any redness, itching, or swelling. We will need to see photos of the areas we tested to be sure.
What happens if I have a reaction during the test?
Your safety is our absolute priority. If any allergens, histamines, or adverse reactions are detected, we will not proceed with a scalp bleach service. However, don't worry our stylists are experts in off-scalp techniques, such as high contrast foiling which can often get you to your goal color without the product ever touching your skin.
Can I have my consultation and my hair appointment on the same day?
Because a patch test requires a 48-hour window to rule out delayed allergic reactions, the consultation must be completed at least two days prior to your actual service. We cannot make exceptions to this safety protocol.
How should I prepare for my consultation?
Please arrive with your hair in its natural state so we can accurately assess its condition. It’s also helpful to bring "inspo photos" of your goal color and a brief history of any box dyes or professional colors you’ve used in the last two years.
How should I prepare for my Appointment?
For the best results and maximum comfort, we kindly ask that you arrive for your appointment with unwashed hair ideally 48 hours since your last shampoo. Keeping your hair in its natural state allows your scalp’s natural oils provide a vital protective barrier during the lightening process.
